A Private, Nonprofit Organization
At Cook Inlet Counseling, we strive to provide an understanding and supportive environment for healing from trauma and substance use through building internal wellness and connection for adults and youth.
We provide individual assessment sessions to identify substance use or mental health experiences that will benefit from therapeutic support.
Therapeutic care can occur individually through tele-health or in person, in therapeutic groups, or both, covering out-patient and intensive out-patient levels of care.
Our case manager works to provide personalized care that supports connection to services and agencies throughout our community and state, accessing grant funding or specialized care, including resources for people who choose medication assisted treatment supports.
Trauma therapy includes use of Brainspotting, a powerful, focused treatment that works by identifying, processing, and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of other challenging symptoms.
Alcohol & Drug Information School (ADIS) is offered monthly.
